Call your dentist as soon as possible and have it looked at. The real danger is ignoring it and going about your usual life. You might not be in pain, but the cavity in your tooth is exposed. Food will get caught in the pocket and continue to disintegrate the tooth. Real damage can be done overtime. It may eventually hit the root, in which case the pain will be tremendous and you’ll probably need a root canal. If you are in pain, we’ll get you in as soon as possible. In the meantime, apply a little clove oil to the sensitive area.
