Veterans Getting Assistance with Dentistry

Being Cincinnati dentists located near Sharonville, we always like to see what dentists in other locations are doing with their practices.

We are always looking for ways to improve and enhance our service, and to give our patients a better experience.

We discovered a dental clinic in Washington state – Walla Walla Dental Care in Walla Walla, Washington – that is giving free dental care to veterans. As an Army veteran myself, this caught my eye.

They called it “Smiles for Veterans,” and Walla Walla Dental Care does it every three months. Honorably discharged veterans are welcome, as well as active duty service members. On one day every quarter, on a first-come, first-served complimentary basis, their clinic offers teeth cleaning, fillings, X-rays, and screenings for oral diseases.

It is an interesting, worthwhile program, and one that we hope inspires other programs in other parts of the country. Helping our nation’s military personnel return to their civilian lives is something all of us can assist with, and one simple way is by offering services to these veterans.
