Have you been putting off your dental care needs because of concerns for COVID? Are you wondering if visiting our dentist office in Cincinnati is safe? What exactly are our policies regarding COVID?
Rest assured we are doing everything we can to make our dentist office a safe and inviting environment for our patients. Your safety is our highest priority. We are following all of Governor DeWine’s health guidelines, as well as local safety protocols of Cincinnati, Blue Ash, and Sharonville.
When You Visit Our Cincinnati Office
We screen all our patients over the phone even before they enter our office. You’ll be asked if you are experiencing any symptoms or if you’ve been around anyone who has tested positive for COVID. We’ll ask you these questions again when you come into our Cincinnati office for an appointment.
When you arrive at our office, notify us by phone if you have a cell phone. We’ll ask that you wait in your car in the parking lot until we are ready to see you. Our parking lot is essentially a waiting area — but you’ll need to bring your own magazines and reading materials!
We’ll ask that you wear a mask when you enter our office. If you do not have a mask, we can provide you one.
Our Approach to Keep Patients Safe
All of our staff, from the office staff who files your paperwork to the dental assistants to Dr. Schmerler and Dr. Malavich, will be wearing masks and appropriate safety equipment.
We’ll ask you to apply provided hand sanitizer when you enter our office. Hand sanitizer will be available for reapplication throughout your appointment.
We’ll also have you pre-rinse with hydrogen peroxide before any treatment begins.
Each member of our staff monitors and watches themselves for symptoms throughout the day and regularly take temperature checks. We are tested for COVID-19 regularly.
Healthy Families Getting Through COVID-19 Together
Your safety is our highest concern. These are certainly unprecedented and challenging times. We do what we have to do to keep each other safe, including our staff, our patients, and their families. Our staff asks for your patience — and we appreciate your trust. Together, we’ll get through all this safely by taking the proper precautions. Dental care is too important to wait out this epidemic. We are committed to keeping you healthy, just as we are dedicated to healthy mouths and beautiful smiles. That’s why we’re here — taking care of families, one healthy smile at a time!
